Adipex-P
Adipex (phentermine) has been specially designed for the treatment of obesity in people that have trouble dealing with this condition on their own and need some help. You are not supposed to be taking this medicine if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or can get pregnant during the period of the treatment. Adipex is intended for short-term treatment only and is most often recommended to be taken for 3-6 weeks. Always tell your doctor about any other medications you are using at the money, especially antidepressants, guanadrel, insulin, diabetes medications, medicines to treat high blood pressure, or guanethidine. At the beginning of your treatment you may get a couple of mild side effects that mean your body is adjusting to the dose prescribed. The following ones are quite common: constipation, feeling nervous or anxious, itching, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, dry mouth, and insomnia. Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, history of drug abuse, overactive thyroid gland, high blood pressure, or any other serious medical conditions of the kind, as your treatment schedule may need to be revised.
